Who We Are

Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club is a community-based rugby organisation that has served Livingstone for over a decade. Founded to provide structure, discipline, and opportunity through rugby, the club focuses on developing young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in a safe, supportive, and values-driven environment.

Through community effort and volunteer leadership, the Rhinos have continued to operate independently, keeping the game alive while positively shaping lives both on and off the field.

Why Rugby ? 

In communities where opportunity is limited, sport provides structure, discipline, and hope. Rugby teaches respect, teamwork, accountability, and resilience — values that help young people navigate life’s challenges with confidence and purpose.

For many of our players, the Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club is more than a team — it is a safe space, a support system, and a pathway toward a better future.

Our programme is built around long-term youth development, not short-term results. We focus on age-appropriate coaching, mentorship, life skills, and player welfare to ensure young people grow both as rugby players and responsible citizens.
