A Clear Path Forward

The Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club is entering a new chapter built on purpose, structure, and long-term thinking. Our Vision 2026–2030 outlines a realistic and ambitious roadmap to transform the club into a sustainable community rugby institution that develops players, leaders, and opportunity through rugby.

This vision is rooted in our past, driven by lived experience, and focused on creating lasting impact for the next generation.

OUR VISION

To become a leading community rugby club in Zambia that uses rugby to develop disciplined, confident, and capable young people, while operating with professionalism, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

OUR MISSION

To provide safe, structured, and values-driven rugby programmes for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, creating pathways for personal growth, education, and opportunity both on and off the field.

  1. Team Bus – Access & Opportunity

Reliable transport is essential for player attendance, safety, and growth. A dedicated team bus will:

  • Improve access to training and matches

  • Allow participation in regional and national competitions

  • Reduce the financial burden on families

  • Keep players safe and punctual

A team bus is not a luxury — it is a foundation for growth.

  1. The Rhino Hub – A Home for the Club

Our long-term goal is to establish a permanent club hub that provides stability and identity.

The Rhino Hub will include:

  • Rugby fields for training and matches

  • A clubhouse with changing rooms

  • A gym and conditioning facility

  • Meeting and education spaces

This hub will serve as a safe environment where players train, learn, and grow, while strengthening community pride and ownership.

  1. Strong Youth Academy & Pathways

Youth development is at the heart of the Rhinos.

Our academy vision focuses on:

  • Structured age-group rugby

  • Qualified and supported coaches

  • Emphasis on discipline, respect, and teamwork

  • Clear progression from grassroots to senior rugby

We aim to develop better people first, better players second.

  1. Sustainability & Good Governance

To ensure long-term survival and independence, the club is focused on building a sustainable model.

This includes:

  • Sponsorship and partnership programmes

  • Membership structures

  • Events and fundraising initiatives

  • Merchandise and future facility use

All growth will be underpinned by transparency, accountability, and responsible governance.

JOIN US ON THE JOURNEY

The next chapter cannot be built alone. We invite sponsors, partners, well-wishers, and supporters to be part of a shared vision that uses rugby to build futures, strengthen community, and create lasting impact.

WHY THIS VISION MATTERS

This vision is not about short-term success.
It is about:

  • Consistency over years

  • Opportunity for children who need it most

  • A club that stands strong beyond individuals

The Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club is building something that will last.
